Knockdown Finish Decorative Overlay

The Versa-Crete Knockdown texture is designed to create a uniform flat textured surface that is pleasant to look at while remaining cooler than standard concrete. Bare feet are only in contact with about 60% of the surface when walking on it which makes it feel cooler. The knockdown spray deck system is great to use over concrete pool decks, driveways and sidewalks. Versacrete Concrete Resurfacer is very easy to install while also being a very economical and profitable choice to beautify any concrete floor surface.

Most concrete deck Knockdown Texture installations are done with our Versa-Crete Resurfacer Regular or Fine Mixes. If you want to have a slightly smoother textured top then use Resurfacer Fine. The Versacrete “Just Add Water” Resurfacer Regular and Resurfacer Fine products are designed to be an easy to use sprayable texture mix. Just add the right amount of water to the mix, blend it into a pancake batter consistency and then spray it onto the concrete floor with a hopper gun. Let it set up for a few minutes and then knock down the tops of the texture making them smooth by using a round edged pool trowel. Versacrete works consistently every time you use it.

We have formulated the Versa-Crete bag mixes with the right amount of super plasticizers, water reducers, retarding agents and polymers to give you a much stronger overlayment.
